Condensation/ Misted Double Glazed Windows?
Double Glazed Units are made with two pieces of glass stuck together with a spacer bar glued with a hot melt solution. The hot melt solution can break down over time, making air in the unit misty.
If my double-glazed unit is broken on one side, can you replace only the broken pane, or do you need to change the whole unit?
The glass unit is heat-sealed at the factory, and if we replace only the broken one, we need to heat-seal the unit again. We cannot achieve the quality required on your property to guarantee the repair.
Do I need to replace the double-glazed units?
Replacement double-glazed units can be a good way to save on your energy bills, as older units lose thermal performance over time.
Can I fix bent hinges?
If you have bent hinges (friction stays/top arm), you must replace them.
How do I repair my windows when there are gaps when I close the window?
When you close the windows, there are gaps because the friction stays (Hinges) are worn out or out of alignment.
How do I fix the door if I have difficulty locking and unlocking it?
If you have difficulty locking and unlocking, it is usually because the door locking mechanism or lock is misaligned.
Can single-glazed panes be cut on-site?
Single Glazed can be cut on site. The exception is when it is oversized or its toughened glass must be cut at the workshop.
